How To Clean Your Thermal Coffee Carafe The Easy Way

The thermal coffee carafe plays a crucial role in our coffee routine by ensuring that our coffee stays warm or cold. The only downside is that certain thermal carafes may have intricate nooks and crannies that prove challenging to clean. If you're still concerned about maintaining the cleanliness of your thermal coffee carafe, this guide provides several helpful tips to effectively remove stains and restore it to a like-new condition. Let's get started!

1. Clean a Coffee Carafe with Vinegar and Baking Soda

Mix equal parts baking soda and water to make a paste. Use the paste to scrub the inside of your carafe until it's spotless. For tougher stains, add a small amount of vinegar to trigger a chemical reaction that will speed up the stain removal process.

2. Clean Coffee Carafes with Dish Soap

If you wash your carafe regularly with warm water and soap, you can prevent coffee from staining it. Try to do this at least once a week. Make sure to rinse your carafe thoroughly to prevent the coffee from smelling soapy.

3. Sanitize and Stain-Lift Carafes with White Vinegar

This is a two-in-one cleaning method. Put a third of a cup of water into a carafe and fill it with the remaining water. Pour this mixture into your coffee maker's reservoir and start the brew cycle. Not only does it help remove stains from glass bottles, it also cleans your coffee machine. Make sure to run clean water through the coffee machine at least twice. 4. Cleaning Coffee Carafes with Lemon Juice and Salt

Place three tablespoons of salt, two tablespoons of lemon juice and one cup of crushed ice into a mason jar. Swirl it around and let the ice and salt scrub the sides while you use the lemon to remove stains. Rinse with cold water and sponge away stubborn stains.

5. Fizz Away Stains with Denture Tablets

Denture tablets are not only great for cleaning your dentures, they can also be used on your carriage. You can place two antibacterial denture tablets in a glass bottle filled with warm water and wait about 15 minutes. Once the pot is clean, scrub and rinse.

I hope the above methods are helpful for you.
