Husband makes cone drip coffee. He's the only person in house who drinks coffee. This is the perfect size for him to make a couple large mugs worth and keep them hot as he drinks them . It stays hot, even on days when he gets to stay home and enjoy his coffee for hours. Going to buy my tea drinker one for college dorm.

I'm a caregiver of a client who loves hot water, hot tea, etc. throughout the day. This is a perfect size for her to handle, stays hot for at least 6+ hours! And, is easy for her to use. Also, it helps that I don't have to fetch hot water throughout the day :) Just what we needed!
I have tried thermal coffee carafes before and this is the best one by far.
I tested the unit by pre heating by first filling with boiling water. After a couple of minutes I poured the water out and filled with hot coffee.
I tested the coffee every 2 hours and after 14 hours the coffee was still perfectly hot. Amazing.
